[Vox Dallas] 11/23/08 Foolishness
As we continue in this short season of "hovering" leading up to our Retreat in January, I'm reminded of the incredible privilege it is to be "foolish" for Christ. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 1:18, "For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." My prayer is that our community will begin to see and share with each other the power of God that is given life through the foolishness of the cross.
Take a moment and read 1 Corinthians 1:18-31. Good stuff.

We will be gathering again at the Comfort Suites at 635 and 75 this Sunday. We promise to not just talk about the fact that we can control the temperature and actually do something about it this week.
